Configure Automated Task

Automate the Sync process by adding it to the server Windows Tasks.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Control Panel\ All Control Panel Items\ Administrative Tools, click Task Scheduler.

    A wizard open with fields for configuring task.

  2. Select Create a Basic Task.
  3. Type the Name and Description, click Next.
  4. Select Trigger to set the frequency of task occurrence, we recommend Daily, click Next.
  5. Select Daily, the start date, the time, and recurrence, click Next.
  6. Select Action, Start a Program, and click Next.
  7. Select Start a Program.
  8. Browse and select the RunAWSSync.bat file, click Next.
  9. Verify your settings, click Finish.
  10. Select the Task Scheduler Library folder.

    The Automation task is configured.

    The AMI templates from Amazon are available in MDB for use in the service cartridge.
