Configure VM Console Email Option

As an administrator you can configure whether you want the reservation email to include VM console URL or not.

Follow these steps:

1. Log in to CA Process Automation as an administrator.
2. Click Library, CA ASC Base Console.
3. Double-click ASC_Global Dataset.
4. Click Check Out to edit the parameters.
5. Click Misc_Parameters_CHANGE ME, verify the following field, and save the changes:

   VM_Console_URL

   Specifies whether the URL for the reserved VM console is required in email.

   Default: False

   Change it to True to receive the URL for the VM console in the email.

6. Click OK, Save, and Check In.

   You have configured the required parameter.
