To identify the servers that host the application port traffic, assign a server subnet or server to an application. If you have created domains to separate TCP traffic from duplicate IP addresses, you can assign server subnets and servers from a particular domain.
When changing the assigned servers and subnets, you must select an item to assign it. If you clear a check box, the item is unassigned.
Click Apply to All (entire domain) to automatically assign new servers as a monitoring device observes matching application traffic.
If you have created domains to separate TCP traffic from duplicate IP addresses, clicking this option assigns all matching servers in the currently selected domain. If you have not defined domains, this option assigns all matching servers monitored by the management console.
Use the Show menu to view All Available or Assigned server subnets, or click Add New Subnet to create a new application subnet and assign it to the application.
Complete the following fields:
Specifies the name of the server subnet.
Specifies the IP address and subnet mask.
Indicates where the subnet was created:
A server subnet that is defined for standard data monitoring.
An application subnet that is defined for a particular application.
Lists the total amount of application traffic, in bytes, across the server subnet, in the last 7 days.
Use this information to find your busiest servers.
Displays a timestamp of the most recent 5-minute interval during which the management console reported application traffic on any server.
If the Last Seen status is Inactive, the management console did not collect data for the application in the past 7 days.
To collect data, the application must meet the database threshold for Network Round Trip Time observations.
Use the Show menu to view All Available or Assigned servers, and assign one or more servers to the application.
Complete the following fields:
Displays the host name of the server.
Displays the IP address of the server.
Displays the assigned monitor feed on the corresponding CA Standard Monitor or CA Multi-Port Monitor.

If you are planning to monitor the availability of the application, and a load-balancer distributes the application traffic between servers, specify the minimum number of servers that must be available.
Complete the following fields:
Click this option to monitor the availability of a load-balanced application. If this option is grayed, click Properties and enable application availability monitoring.
Specify the minimum number of servers that must be available for the management console to rate the application as Available.
