Data Monitoring - Import Network from CSV

Importing client networks from a CSV file is the easiest way to specify the client networks you want the management console to monitor. To get started, you export a list of client networks, for example, from a DHCP management tool, and then edit the list to import the /24 client networks.

Complete the following fields:

network_name

Specifies the name of the network as you want it to appear in the management console with a maximum length of 50 characters.

When using regions to automatically create /24 client networks, We recommend naming each network region using a standard convention like Location-Region-Bandwidth where:

To name a /24 network, use Location-Description.

subnet

Specifies the IPv4 address of the network in four-part, dotted-decimal notation, for example 192.168.100.0.

mask

Specifies the subnet mask of the network by choosing a mask between /0 and /32.

Note that /32 network is a network with a single client IP address. The management console automatically creates a /32 network for each server to monitor servers that act as both a server to client requests, and a client to another server.

regions

(Optional) Specify the number of subnetworks into which you want to divide the client network.

network_type

(Optional) Specify the network type using the existing network types you have configured in the management console. If you do not specify a network type, it is set to Unassigned.
