Tasks

Generally, a user story or an issue is broken down into one or more tasks. Tasks are items of work that one or more team members perform during a sprint.

Tasks display on the Sprint Backlog & Charts page underneath their parent user story and from the Tasks section of the User Story Detail page. Tasks are also displayed as cards on the Virtual Wall on the Sprint Detail page.

Clicking a task title displays its details.

When you change the status of a task to Closed from the task pop-up, task details, or Virtual Wall, the remaining hours become zero on the task.

You can also create tasks for issues.
