Resource and column name values may be explicitly specified, or masking may be used. Allowed masking characters are the asterisk (*) and the dash (-). An asterisk signifies that any character in the corresponding position of the resource or column name will be accepted as a match for this safelist entry, while a dash signifies that the remainder of the resource or column name will be accepted as a match. If a dash is used as a masking character, it must be the last character of the resource name or column name.
