What is the SAFELIST Record?

The DB2 SAFELIST infostorage record lets you define certain resources for unrestricted access. When a request for a DB2 resource is made, before a security call is issued, the DB2 class, resource, service, and column, if applicable, of the requested resource will be compared to resources in the SAFELIST records. If the resource requested is in the SAFELIST for the service requested, access will automatically be granted and no security call will be issued. If the resource requested does not match any of the resources in the SAFELIST records, a security call will be issued.
