TMSSMFQ can be started manually or automatically when CTS is started. We recommend that CTS start the TMSSMFQ subtask automatically.
To automatically start the TMSSMFQ subtask each time CTS is started, add the following command to the CTSSTART member in CAI.CTAPOPTN:
SET TASK(SMFQ) PGM(TMSSMFQ) START SMFQ
When the CTS task has started, you can communicate with CTS with a MODIFY command or by WTOR.
Example: Start TMSSMFQ manually
This example uses the MODIFY command to start the TMSSMFQ subtask manually under CTS:
F CTS,SET TASK(SMFQ) PGM(TMSSMFQ) F CTS,START SMFQ
