CA1_VRFY_OPTION_LCHG

Description

This check identifies possible problems associated with changing a label type that is based on the CA 1 System Option LCHG. The default interval for this check is run once at startup and the exception interval is every 24 hours.

Best Practice

CA recommends that you allow dynamic label change processing by setting the CA 1 System Option LCHG to YES or EXT. This will allow CA 1 to process requests that involve a label type change (for example, from AL to SL) without delays or problems. By coding EXT you have the ability to control which users can perform a label type change by setting up rules in your external security system.

Parameters accepted
