Description

This check identifies possible problems associated with dynamic label change processing based on the CA 1 System Option DCHG. The default interval for this check is to run once at startup and the exception interval is every 24 hours.

Best Practice

CA recommends that you allow dynamic label change processing by setting the CA 1 System Option DCHG to YES. CA 1 can process requests that involve a density change orion mode change without delays or problems.

TMSH00131E Your CA 1 real-time processing options disallow dynamic density change. Any attempt to change the density mode of a scratch tape when opening it for output will fail. For more information, see the Message Reference Guide.
