Install the CA TM Agent on Mac OS X

Use th following procedure to create an installation control file which you will then use to the CA TM Agent on client machines running the Mac OS X operating system.

To install the CA TM Agent on a client machine running Mac OS X

1. On the installation CD, find the appropriate file at config/inoc6<LANG>.icf, where <LANG> is the desired target language.
2. Copy this file to a temporary location and open the file with a text editor to make any necessary changes to your desired configuration. See the Configure the Installation Control File (Windows) for the minimum configuration settings.
3. Right-click the Install eTrust ITM application and select Show Package Contents.
4. Copy the inoc6<LANG>.icf file into the folder named Contents/Resources within the Install eTrust ITM application
5. Rename the file to inoc6.icf and
6. Close the folder.
7. Copy the Install eTrust ITM application to the client machine.
8. On the client machine, double-click the application to start the installation.
