Installing a Redistribution Server

A Redistribution Server distributes signature and content updates to other Redistribution Servers and/or to client machines. Use this procedure to install a Redistribution Server.

To install a Redistribution Server

1. Insert the CA TM CD into the CD drive.
2. Select the installation language when prompted, and then click OK.
3. In the Main Menu, click Install.
4. Click I agree to accept the Install Notice.

   Note: You must scroll to the end of the notice to enable the I Agree button.

5. Click I Agree to accept the CA License Agreement.
6. Click I Agree to accept the Third Party License Agreements.
7. Click Next to skip the User Registration window.
8. In the Option Selection window, click Install eTrust Integrated Threat Management Suite, r8.1.
9. On the Installation Type window, click Redistribution Server, and then click Next.
10. On the Finish window, review the installation components, and then click Finish.

    The installation progress is displayed.

    Note: You must reboot the server when the installation is complete.
