SECURE_SCHEDULE
Indicates to XCOMJOB whether a secure (SSL) TCP/IP connection is used against the target server.
- YES
-
XCOMJOB uses a secure (SSL) TCP/IP connection to connect to the target server referenced in the STCIP parameter.
- NO
-
A regular TCP/IP connection is used.
Notes:
- This parameter applies only to XCOMJOBs using TCP/IP. It has no meaning for SNA-based operations.
- When SECURE_SCHEDULE=YES, a secure connection is made in the server using the INITIATE_SIDE and RECEIVE_SIDE values of the parameters defined in the XCOM_CONFIG_SSL file. If the INITIATE_SIDE and RECEIVE_SIDE values for a parameter are in conflict, then the schedule of the transfer will fail. For example, if the SSL_METHOD parameter is defined with INITIATE_SIDE=TLS and RECEIVE_SIDE=V3, then this will cause the schedule of the transfer to fail because the TLS SSL method does not support the V3 SSL method.
Default: The SSL and SECURE_SOCKET parameter combinations in the Default Options Table determines the default value.
