Reason:
You are attempting to transfer USS files to a z/OS partitioned data set. Member names of z/OS partitioned data sets are limited to eight characters. Because there is no such limit for USS files, names of more than eight characters are truncated to the first eight characters when USS files are transferred to a z/OS partitioned data set.
CA XCOM Data Transport has determined that at least two USS files have the same first eight characters. It will transfer the first of those files, but not the subsequent files, because they would have duplicate member names in the partitioned data set.
Each USS file with unique first eight characters is transferred. Each USS file that violates the unique requirement is identified by XCOMM0855W in the XCOMLOG only. Because of the possible high volume, no WTO is written.
Notes:
Action:
Ensure that each USS file that you are transferring is unique in its first eight characters. Then resend the files that failed to transfer.
