Format of CA XCOM Gateway File Names

You need to provide the CA XCOM Gateway file name in a specific format. The file name should contain one and only one level of path and no leading drive specification, as follows:

[/\]policyname[/\]filename

Examples:

\payroll\employeelist.doc
/payroll/employeelist.doc
/payroll\employeelist.doc
\payroll/employeelist.doc

Note: In these examples, payroll is a user-defined CA XCOM Gateway policy. For more information about CA XCOM Gateway policies, see the CA XCOM Data Transport Gateway Product Guide.

If CA XCOM Data Transport identifies the transfer as a non-Gateway transfer, it then continues with the conventional file transfer unrelated to Gateway.
