Unable to initialize ETPKI Library.

Reason:

This message is returned when CA XCOM Data Transport cannot load the CAPKI (also known as ETPKI) library.

CA XCOM Data Transport requires the CAPKI library for the following reasons:

• Password encryption with cipher negotiation
• Encryption at rest
• CA XCOM Gateway transfers
• SSL transfers

The CA XCOM Data Transport installer installs the CAPKI library. A default path is updated in the xcom.glb library.

Action:

1. Verify if the ETPKI library is installed correctly.
2. Search libcapki.dll to verify if the CAPKIHOME global parameter is set to the directory where ETPKI is installed.
