Perform the Shutting Down procedure described later in this chapter before upgrading or reinstalling. This procedure deletes all CA XCOM Data Transport for HP-UX IA64 queue entries. Coordinate with the users for the best time to perform this procedure, so that any CA XCOM Data Transport for HP-UX IA64 processes are not active.
Review what is in the queue by performing the following command before shutting down the queue:
xcomqm -La
