Tracing records function-level details of processes, which can be used to find and fix errors if agent-manager communication fails or is abnormal.
Tracing is disabled by default. To diagnose a problem, you may be asked to enable tracing using the CAI-CCI-DEBUG and CAI-TRACE-SUBVOL parameters. We strongly recommend that you do not modify these parameters except under direct supervision of CA Technologies Technical Support.
Important! When tracing is enabled, the log files could consume large amount of disk space. This impacts the system and the agent performance. Ensure that you disable tracing after you complete troubleshooting.
