Standard Streams
The standard streams are pre-connected input and output channels between an application and its environment that exchange data when the application is running.
The following are the I/O connections:
- STDIN (Standard input)
- STDOUT (Standard output)
- STDERR (Standard error)
These streams have the following syntax:
$volume.sub_volume.filename
Notes:
- The entire value can be up to 26 characters. Each field can be up to eight characters.
- CA WA Agent for HP Integrity NonStop does not support the STDIN and STDERR redirection files for the TACL macros or commands in the incoming AFM.
