SPOOL-SLEEP-TIME—Specify the Duration of Spool File Storage

The SPOOL-SLEEP-TIME variable specifies the duration when the agent checks the spool files that meet the specified expiration time.

This variable has the following format:

SPOOL-SLEEP-TIME: nD|H|M

n

Specifies the number of days, hours, or minutes.

D

Indicates that the value is in days.

H

Indicates that the value is in hours.

M

Indicates that the value is in minutes.

Default: 1D

Notes:

• The value of n must be an integer.
• If the SPOOL-SLEEP-TIME value exceeds the SPOOL-FILE-EXPIRY value, the agent ignores the SPOOL-SLEEP-TIME variable.
• The agent will not take a combination of time periods, for example, 5D 10H. If an invalid value is entered, the agent uses the default value.
