SPOOL-FILE-EXPIRY—Delete Spool Files Older than Specified Value

The SPOOL-FILE-EXPIRY variable specifies how long the agent retains spool files. Files older than the specified value are deleted.

This variable has the following format:

SPOOL-FILE-EXPIRY: nD|H|M

n

Specifies the number of days, hours, or minutes.

D

Indicates that the value is in days.

H

Indicates that the value is in hours.

M

Indicates that the value is in minutes.

Default: 10D

Notes:

• The value of n must be an integer.
• The agent will not take a combination of time periods, for example, 5D 10H. If an invalid value is entered, the agent uses the default value.
