Delete a Virtual Resource

If you no longer need to manage a virtual resource in your environment, you can delete it.

Follow these steps:

  1. Find the appropriate resource.
  2. Select the Select check box in front of that resource, and then select Delete from the Select and drop-down list.

Note: You can delete multiple virtual resources at one time by selecting the Select check box for each virtual resource to be deleted and then selecting Delete from the Select and drop-down list.

  3. Click Go.

    A confirmation dialog opens.

  4. Click OK.

    The virtual resource is deleted.

Note: If the resource is in use by a job, the resource cannot be deleted. In that case, an error message is displayed explaining the reason for the failure.
