Copy a Global Variable

You can copy an existing global variable to create a new global variable with the same properties. You must specify a different name for the new global variable; otherwise, the global variable you copied is simply updated.

Follow these steps:

  1. Find the global variable to copy.
  2. Do one of the following:

    The global variable Properties section is displayed.

  3. Define your global variable by doing the following:
    1. Enter a name for the global variable in the Name field.

      Note: The name can contain up to 64 characters.

    2. Edit the value as necessary.

      Note: The value can contain up to 100 characters.

  4. Click Commit.

    The new global variable is saved.
