Edit a View Using the View Editor
You can use the View Editor dialog to modify the properties of a single view.
Note: To edit multiple views at one time, you must select the views to edit, and then select Edit in VMC from the pop-up menu.
Follow these steps:
- Find the appropriate view.
- Right-click that view and select Edit from the pop-up menu.
The View Editor dialog opens, displaying the properties for the selected view.
- Edit the view definition as appropriate.
Note: The view name cannot be modified.
- Click the filter you want to modify in the Filter section. Alternatively, you can right-click a filter in the navigation pane and select Edit from the pop-up menu.
The Edit Filter section displays the properties for the selected filter.
Note: You cannot modify a view’s filter to change the name of the server to which it points. Right-click the filter and select Delete from the pop-up menu and then insert a new filter.

- Select the Text control option and edit the filter definition in the Job Filter field.
- Select the Interactive control option to edit the filter definition using the Add Filter Expression table.
- Click Save Filter.
The changes to the selected filter are saved.
