The Flow section lets you import jobs, add, edit, or delete objects in a job flow, save changes so you can continue working with a job flow at a later time, and commit the changes to the appropriate CA Workload Automation AE server.
This section contains the following panes:
Contains a tree of object icons that you can drag into the Graph to create or modify a job flow, as follows:
When the Palette is displayed, the Delete List is collapsed.
Displays a list of jobs you have deleted from the Graph. If needed, you can remove jobs from the list. Jobs in the list will be deleted on the specified server when the workspace is committed. When the Delete List is displayed, the Palette is collapsed.
Displays a thumbnail view of all jobs imported into Application Editor. A boundary box is displayed in the Overview when you select objects in the Graph using the Zoom tool. You can drag the boundary box to display other magnified sections of the job flow.
Displays an editable graphical view of the jobs imported. The Graph toolbar lets you customize the view. For example, you can adjust the magnification or center the objects in the view.
Note: When a cross-instance job is displayed in the flow, its name is appended with the name of the CA Workload Automation AE server instance on which the job was created, as entered in the job dependency string, in parentheses.
Displays a list of user-defined filters for the SAP drag and drop feature. When a filter name is clicked, a search is performed on the SAP server specified by the filter, and jobs that match the filter properties are displayed in the SAP Filter Results pane. You can add, edit, and delete filters as needed.
Displays a list of jobs from the specified SAP server that match the properties of the selected filter. You can drag a job from the results list to the Graph to create a new SAP job with those properties on a CA Workload Automation AE server.
Note: To display the SAP Filters and SAP Filter Results panes, select one or more of the following SAP job types in the Customize dialog: SAP R/3, SAP Batch Input Session, SAP BW Process Chain, or SAP BW InfoPackage. Additionally, verify that Hide SAP Drag and Drop Panes is not checked in the Customize dialog.
