Reason:
The syntax of the CPUID or SMFID parameter is incorrect. Shared Tape Allocation Manager (STAM) initialization aborts. If the VMTAPE CONFIG file specifies STAM AUTO, CA VM:Tape initialization also fails.
Action:
Ask the CA VM:Tape system administrator to correct the syntax of the CPUID or SMFID parameter on the SID record. The chapter on the STAM facility in the Administration Guide describes the SID record. When the problem is corrected, start STAM again and, if necessary, start CA VM:Tape again.
