Reason:
CA VM:Tape could not obtain sufficient virtual storage for internal Shared Tape Allocation Manager (STAM) work areas. STAM initialization aborts. If the VMTAPE CONFIG file specifies STAM AUTO, CA VM:Tape initialization also fails.
Action:
Ask the CA VM:Tape system administrator to increase the virtual storage size of the CA VM:Tape service virtual machine. When the problem is corrected, start STAM again and, if necessary, start CA VM:Tape again.
