Parameter Descriptions

The following provides a description of each parameter for users:

[ Requests ]

Displays the status of your mount requests.

[ Library ]

Displays whether the TMC is CMS or OS.

[ LOCation [ location ] ]

Displays the status, including entry and exit status, of the indicated location. For more information about values for location, see LOCation location Option.

If you do not specify location or if you enter an asterisk for location, CA VM:Tape lists the locations defined to your system and displays their status.

[ STACK [ FIFO | LIFO ]

Tells CA VM:Tape to place the query output in your program stack in first in, first out (FIFO) or last in, first out (LIFO) order. This option is not valid when you use CP SMSG to issue the QUERY command.
