Examples

• To start the HSC interface, enter the following:

  vmtape hsc start
  

  CA VM:Tape responds as follows:

  THE HSC INTERFACE IS READY FOR USE.
  

• The HSC is not responding to mount requests. To display the status of the interface between CA VM:Tape and the HSC, enter the following:

  vmtape hsc query
  

  CA VM:Tape responds as follows:

  HSC INTERFACE IS HALTED
  THERE ARE 5 PROCESSES WAITING.
