Parameter Descriptions

The following provides a description of each parameter:

{ HALT | START | QUERY }

Indicates the operation to perform on the interface.

HALT

Halts the interface.

START

Starts the interface.

QUERY

Displays the current status of the interface and lists the number of processes (such as mount or allocation requests) that are waiting to use the interface.

Possible statuses for the interface are as follows:

If the interface remains in CONNECTING or QUIESCED status for more than a few minutes, check the HSC service virtual machine to ensure that it is functioning correctly.
