What the User Can Do

Users can request an explicit location for a tape mount by specifying the existing location using the LOCATION option on the CA VM:Tape MOUNT command. CA VM:Tape cannot access the location when the associated ACS interface is inactive.

Users can use the CA VM:Tape CHANGE command to redirect their mount requests to use an ACS location.
