Setting a Write Lock

To set a write lock for the VMTAPE1 system’s VMT1B0 minidisk containing the TMC or Audit file, enter the following:

vmtape sdc write vmt1b0 vmtape1

CA VM:Tape responds as follows:

WRITING LOCK SET ON VMT1B0 FOR VMTAPE1
