Use the AUTHORIZ Record to control access to CA VM:Tape by user ID and groups of user IDs. Multiple AUTHORIZ records can specify the same authorization; authorizations specified on all such records are merged.
If you have CA VM:Secure installed at your site, and the CA VM:Secure rules for CA VM:Tape commands do not include the NOPASS option, CA VM:Tape authorizations override CA VM:Secure authorizations. If the CA VM:Secure rules do include NOPASS, then the CA VM:Secure authorization overrides CA VM:Tape.
