Authorizations

You can divide responsibilities among users by carefully granting user IDs the authority to:

Use CA VM:Tape commands
Perform additional processing for user IDs other than their own
Give user IDs authorizations by adding AUTHORIZ records to the VMTAPE CONFIG file. An AUTHORIZ record has the following format:
```
AUTHORIZ authorization user
```

The authorization is one of the CA VM:Tape command authorizations, as shown in Authorizations for Commands, or one of the command processing authorizations, as shown in Authorizations for Command Processing. The user is a user ID or a list of user IDs to be granted authorization.
