Master Product Server Outage

When a Master product server is down, but the member VM system is still operational, no CA VM:Secure product commands are processed, so the Object Directory is not being updated on any member system. Normal recovery may be as simple as restarting the server. If you must restore volumes containing the Object Directory or any CA VM:Secure minidisks, you should bring down all the Agent servers on other nodes, restart the Master server, and then Restart the Agent servers. If the Object Directory is changed during your recovery procedures, you must resynchronize the Object directory on all members of the complex before restarting the CA VM:Secure servers.. Follow the procedures in the section Agent Server Member Outage to run VMXBKP01 and DIRECTXA as needed to resynchronize these Object Directory areas.
