Recovery After an Outage

If one of the CA VM:Secure product servers in an SSI complex experiences an outage, it is important to be able to quickly recover. An outage might occur because of an error in the product server or because of an error in the member VM system where it is running. In either of these cases, the best option is to restart the failing SSI member or failing CA VM:Secure product server virtual machine or both. If you are able to do that, normal operations will resume with your complex fully functional. If a member or product server cannot be made operational, you will be in one of the following situations:
