Target’s Device Address

PRXTDEV is relevant only for LINK and DIAL commands. It is the target device address of the LINK (for example, 192 in the command LINK GEORGE 192 200 RR) or the target line of the DIAL (for example, 083 in the command DIAL DOSVSE 083). If no target line is specified by a DIAL command, PRXTDEV contains 0000.

The target device is left‑justified in a four‑byte EBCDIC field. For example:
