The WAITCHK record determines the limits for CP command retries when CPACTION WAIT is in effect. The parameters on the WAITCHK record control the time interval between retries and the number of checks to be attempted.
WAITCHK interval number
Specifies the number of seconds between CA VM:Secure availability retries. The default (and minimum) is 30. The maximum is 900 (15 minutes).
The interval parameter applies only to disconnected user IDs. Connected user IDs that issue a CP command while CA VM:Secure is not available are prompted to RETRY or CANCEL the command. User IDs are permitted number retries before the request is canceled. An exception is made for the LOGON command, which remains valid.
Specifies the number of retries attempted before the request is canceled. The default is 20. The minimum is 1; the maximum is 255.
