If you want to share your user ID so that REBECCAH can log on to your user ID on Mondays from 3 pm to 4 pm, until 8 p.m. on a given mm/dd/yy, but you do not want to give her your logon password, add the following LOGONBY rule to your user rules file:
ACCEPT REBECCAH LOGONBY (DAY MON TIME 1500 1600
EXPIRE mm/dd/yy 19:59:59
This rule allows REBECCAH to log on to your user ID during the time frame specified, using the CP LOGON BY command (or the LOGONBY Facility) and her own password.
Note: CA VM:Secure treats CP LOGON BY commands as LOGONBY Facility requests.
When CA VM:Secure is down, for example as in a disaster recovery situation, you can have CA VM:Secure use the LOGONBY statement in the CP directory to allow access to shared virtual machines.
Note: For more information about this support, see Enabling CP LOGON BY When CA VM:Secure is Unavailable.
