Updating Rules Files

Use the RULES command to create or delete a file in the rules database or to invoke XEDIT for updating existing rules. If you do not include any parameters on the RULES command, you are placed in XEDIT to modify your own rules file.

To update an existing system rules file, enter the following:

vmsecure rules system

Add or delete any rules you want, then file your changes.
