Step 3: Increase the Size of the AUDT Minidisk

If you are using the auditing feature, you will need to increase the size of the AUDT minidisk because of the increased amount of audit data generated by the Rules Facility. Review the VMSECURE directory entry to check the current size of the AUDT minidisk.

To increase the size of the AUDT minidisk

  1. Enter the following command:
    vmsecure manage vmsecure
    

    The Manager Selection Menu is displayed.

  2. Choose selection 6, Move a Minidisk.
  3. In the For Device field, enter the following:
    1D0
    
  4. Press Enter.
  5. Specify the new size in the Size field. (Initially you can double the original size.)
  6. Press Enter.

    Messages display about the processing of the minidisk size change.

  7. Continue to Step 4: Add System Security Records and Create Security Groups.
