Creating Card Image Backups

You create a card image backup of the DRCT source directory minidisk on disk by using the VMXBKP01 utility. A card image backup is a single file that contains all of the source records in the form that is acceptable to the DIRECTXA command.

Note: Record the physical location of the minidisk containing the disk backup, and have it available and incorporated into your site’s disaster recovery plans.
