Job Rollback

When a restore job rollback occurs, CA VM:Backup uses the restart recovery facility to allow the job to be restarted close to the point where processing stopped.

If the rollback is caused by a tape I/O error, CA VM:Backup automatically restarts the restore job. If the rollback is due to a procedural error, CA VM:Backup automatically places the restore job on hold. When the problem is corrected, you can use the RELEASE command to restart the job.
