The Directory Error action expresses information about error conditions related to Directory activity. The meaning of Directory in this context is general-purpose, distributed, hierarchical object-oriented directory technologies like X.500 and LDAP directory services. Any type of error about the Directory can be mapped to this action. Less severe events should be mapped to the Directory Warning action. More severe events that warrant immediate action should be mapped to the Directory Alert action.
