The Directory Alert action expresses information about alert conditions related to Directory activity. The meaning of Directory in this context is general-purpose, distributed, hierarchical object-oriented directory technologies like X.500 and LDAP directory services. Any type of alert about the Directory can be mapped to this action. If this is an error condition and does not warrant immediate attention, then map to the Directory Error action.
