Review the Utility Considerations

Before you run the utility, review the following considerations:

• The utility does not export hot databases.
• The utility must be configured only on the reporting server to avoid duplication of the events.
• Configure the Maximum Rows value in Event Log Store (logDepot.conf) to 200000 to minimize the delay in viewing the events on your RDBMS.
• Consider the 1:10 compression ratio of the archived databases when you configure the target database compression and archival to manage the disk space on your RDBMS.
