Data Integrity Checks

You can check a raw event, archived or recataloged data for tampering if you are logged in as a user with Administrator rights. Checking verifies that the incoming raw events and archived data are not tampered, thus helping meet regulatory requirements.

CA User Activity Reporting Module uses digital signatures to validate databases and raw events. If a database is corrupted, or the signature of a database is missing or corrupted, the data integrity check considers the database as tampered. If a raw event signature is missing or corrupted, the data integrity check considers the raw event in a database as tampered.

CA User Activity Reporting Module lets you perform data integrity checks on a database or a raw event. By default, CA User Activity Reporting Module performs data integrity checks on a database.
