Integrating CA User Activity Reporting Module with CA Access Control
CA Access Control customers have a significant investment in their existing installations. They need a way to get event information to CA User Activity Reporting Module for queries, reporting, and analysis.
The system administrator and security manager work together to implement an integration between CA Access Control and CA User Activity Reporting Module. The integration can take advantage of an existing CA Audit installation, or it can be configured without CA Audit.

Using Existing CA Audit Policies to Send CA Access Control Events to CA User Activity Reporting Module
CA Access Control customers who have CA Audit need to leverage their existing installations with queries and reports that help to demonstrate compliance.
The security analyst uses the CA Audit Policy Manager to modify existing CA Audit collection policies to send CA Access Control events to both CA Audit clients and a CA User Activity Reporting Module server.
Import Events from an Existing CA Audit Database
CA Access Control customers who have CA Audit need to be able to import CA Access Control events from their existing SEOSDATA table to CA User Activity Reporting Module for queries, reporting, and analysis.
The security analyst uses the LMSeosImport utility to determine if CA Access Control events are present in the database and then to import them to a CA User Activity Reporting Module server.
Reconfigure a Standalone iRecorder for CA Access Control to Send Events to CA User Activity Reporting Module
CA Access Control customer who do not have CA Audit need a way to get events to a CA User Activity Reporting Module server for queries, reporting, and analysis.
Configure a standalone iRecorder for CA Access Control to send collected events to a CA User Activity Reporting Module server.
