The API Operation action expresses information about general operations related to functioning of an API. An Application Programming Interface (API) is an interface that defines the ways by which an application program may interact with external libraries and/or operating systems. When an event that is recorded as part of an API normal function or operation cannot be mapped to a more specific CEG action, consider mapping the event to the API Operation action.
