Reason:
The shared profile table is a storage area reserved in CA Top Secret multi-user address spaces to store TYPE=PROFILE acids at signon as a common pool for the address space. This message is displayed when the profile table reaches 65%, 70%, and 80% of capacity.
Administrators can use the control option SHRPROF(jjjjjjjj) to display statistics for this table in a specified jobname.
nn% is the percentage of allocated storage in use by profiles signed on to the designated multi-user address space jjjjjjjj. ssssssss designates whether the profile table is stored in PRIVATE or COMMON areas of storage.
Action:
When the shared profile percentage reaches 100%, the address space must read new profiles into the private SECREC for newly signed on users. This causes additional security file I/O during signon and may reduce the efficiency of CA Top Secret for this address space. To increase the profile table size modify the region ACID MASTFAC facility parameter PRFT.
For information on the FACILITY parameter, see the Control Options Guide. Increasing the size of the PRIVATE profile table may require an increase the region size for the multi user address space. Increasing the size of a COMMON profile table require a reconfiguration of the size of your MVS CSA.
